In Millapoa (37°23′S), our vineyard is shaped by Chile’s seasonal extremes: winter (June 21 to late September) is cold and wet, while summer (December 21 to March 20) is hot and dry. Temperatures can swing from around 13°C / 4°C (day/night) in winter to 35°C / 11°C in summer—a contrast that favors freshness, balance, and precision.
País
Our País vines have been cared for and harvested by our family for generations, and every vine in this parcel is more than 200 years old. With that longevity comes a presence you can see: thick, sculpted trunks and a natural height that, in places, makes the vine feel almost like a small tree-gnarled, resilient, and deeply rooted in Millapoa.
Those deep roots and old-vine equilibrium help the plant focus its energy, producing fruit with natural balance, freshness, and quiet depth-an authenticity that cannot be replicated. Just as important, our País is protected by a Designation of Origin, a recognition that ties every vintage to its place, its heritage, and the integrity of where it is grown. In a climate of wet winters and dry summers, País thrives with honesty and strength, anchoring our estate in Chilean tradition and in the unmistakable character of Millapoa.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Planting Cabernet Sauvignon in Millapoa was a bold bet. At this latitude, the season is defined by contrast—cold, rain-heavy winters and hot, dry summers-with winter nights near 4°C and real frost pressure. This natural discipline encourages Cabernet with structure and elegance, shaped more by balance than by excess.
Planted in the 1990s, our Cabernet is irrigated during the dry season with Biobío River water, extracted through solar-powered systems-precision farming aligned with responsible energy use.

TWO GRAPES. ONE ORIGIN.
Together, País and Cabernet Sauvignon express the full character of Millapoa—heritage and long-term vision, tradition and modern precision—rooted in one unmistakable place.
